Addiction
Definition: the state of being enslaved to a habit or practice or to something that is psychologically or physically habit-forming, as narcotics, to such an extent that its cessation causes severe trauma.
Addiction may be a good thing or may be a bad thing. The good addiction stuff are like studying, etc, those that will benefit you greatly. But there are many bad addiction stuff, such as addiction to drugs, games etc.
Addiction to studies is a good thing as you will be able to gain good results in examinations and then you will never have to worry about not getting a job in the future. But the point of me writing this post is about the bad addiction stuff.
Bad addiction like to drugs or games is very bad for you, especially your health. Drugs can cause your body to be weaker then before, though you might feel high when you have just taken the drug. You lose your ability to think straight and thus you might do some extremely foolish things. How to overcome it? Go cold turkey. Stay away from drugs or go to the drug rehabilitation centre so as to go cold turkey. Whenever you have the urge to take some drugs, force yourself not to and then you will be able to kick the habit.
Addiction to games will cause your studies to deteriorate badly, if not from bad to worse. Your eyesight will also go bad. Your health will also deteriorate due to the lack of sleep. How to overcome it? Simple. Shut yourself in the room and prevent yourself from using the computer. Ask your parents to help you. Go cold turkey.

Intrapersonal

Intrapersonal:
a. Who would you want to be friends with in the novel? Explain.
I would like to be friends with Atticus in the novel. Atticus is a helpful man, and does not care about any skin color or anything other people thinks its wrong. He does what he thinks is best to help others, though others may look down on him in the end after he helps. From the novel, he helps Tom Robinson, which is a black. The residents or Maycomb are against black people, but Atticus, being a White, still helps Tom. This shows that he is does not care for what others think bad about, but what he feels is correct.
Atticus is also very wise. It is stated in the book that he said bravery does not stand for a man with a gun. I feel that this is true. It is the courage within that is more important. If you were holding a gun, but do not have the courage to pull the trigger, then it is not called courage anymore, it will be called cowardice. But if you were find out about your own mistakes, and admit, that is called true courage. You have the bravery to stand up to yourself.

Interpersonal:
a. Conduct an interview with a friend (not from HCI) or family member. Find out from their point of view on prejudice and discrimination. Either record the interview or write out the interview transcript.
Q: How do you feel about prejudice and discrimination?
A: I feel that prejudice and discrimination is not a good thing. Take for example the whites against the blacks. All human have their own rights. I feel its very unfair to shun them in one corner while the whites enjoy almost everything. The blacks have to sit at the back of the bus while the whites sit at the front. And if there is no space at the front, the blacks are expected to give up their sit to the whites. The Blacks must feel that it certainly cannot continue. Not only that, the whites also treat the blacks with great disrespect though the blacks helped the whites alot.

Multiple Intelligence Test

I feel that the Multiple Intelligence test helps me know more about myself and make me undestan myself better than before. I found out that I am not the Musical type and I am actually body smart. This test is certainly beneficial and thus I will know what I am good at and what I am not so good at, which in the end helps me to learn better and where I can learn so as to absorb anything quickly. For example, I like working in a team, and not doing things solo, and this shows that if I do work in groups, I will be able to produce better results.

This is the website that will be dead for quite a few weeks more. I dont know the reason for this sudden Non-Updating of our MapleSEA rankings and I have stuck on the same page for what seems like an eternity.
Well, the CNY has just passed and thus I feel more refresehed than before yet I want the CNY holidays to prolong. But it cannot be done. Wednesday we reopened school and GildThief came running to me and saying that What-A-Fun-CNY-I-Had-And-I-Earned-500m, etc those bragging stuff. Well, he usually brags, but his experiences were certainly interesting. He brags and boasts in the GOOD way, not the BAD way. Though how many times he repeated that he was a PRO NightLord and 'Everyone' wanted him in boss fights and 'He was very famous'.
His exact reply will be' ya la ya la' etc. Blah Blah Blah.
Well, according to him, he has hit level 126 while I am still stuck at the meagre level of 92. But I cant play. He told me that he took 1.5hours to down Samurai Knight, and gave him 10mil exp, which increased his percentage by 30. He kill-stealed another mapler's Samurai Knight before and thus he leveled up. Well, not his job. What a naughty boy ;)

So never mind. My equipments are currently on pending status but it most probably have been upgraded. GildThief, think that my cousin was lying to me, cause it was 'impossible'. Ha, lets see about that!

Large Captain holding teeny latern? PHAIL.

The period in between was sometimes extremely fun yet sometimes extremely boring. The good part was that I killed Captain Latanica! Err, it wasnt actually a solo, but you know, with 1 Hermit dead instantly when Capt was summoned and only me and Pur3 were left whacking it, well it wasnt too bad. I could tank it with HyberBody(HB). The Captain hits me about 3.5k damage. Woah, thats painful damage. Pur3 was so intent on killing he nearly forgot to HB me, I NEARLY died. NEARLY, close shave.
That day, I found out that there were quite a stupid scammer running around FM, wanting one of my most valuable items. ( Well, actually not that valuable, but it costs about 40m that time) He showed me such a noob item, and asked me to trade it for my Owl Mask, the 'so called' valuable item'. So I acted dumb.
This was our conversation:

Well, this was how it went. Very stupid, aint he? 10 dex bathrobe PFFFFT.
Soon after that my sis and I went on a mad hunt for Earring For Int 60/70% scrolls to scroll her equips. She wanted a perfect earring. Lucky for her, it was her 1st try when she got it perfect. Demanding -.- I spent 8m searching for 2 Earring Int 60% and gave it to her. Wow, she went mad over her 10ma(Magic Attack) 5int earrings. I was like WTH. Never mind. She was hyper that night and wasted like 100 of her mp pots teleporting here and there like a mad... something.
*ahem* Well getting back to the point, we went bossing but my sister was way too scared to go Capt Latanica with Pur3 and I. After the first expedition when Sinx died, she ran off to orbis and did what not. For the first few expeditions, I used Daniel's Bishop to kill Capt, and it was very successful. :D Just that Sinx died on both rounds and my Ressurect was used up -.-
Immediately after that, we went for GPQ, organised by my cousin. (Stupid organizer o.O) *Bleurrgh POOF* oops. Shouldnt have said that. We were unable to proceed deep into the GPQ as we forgot that my sister had to come along with us. Thus, we couldnt move on further and we had fun. I removed my earrings and I died. Everyone started following me, and then we all went out. We called it a day due to the many people whom had to go offline. Well ya'know, its still early for me, and thus I went back to my grinding at newties. So thats about what has happened in between before my mass chionging from *errrr* lvl to lvl 90. Maybe the next post might be on my equips or the events after 90? hmmm, lets see about that! GTG (Got to go) guys, buaiis.... :D

Plagiarism
Definition of Plagiarism: the unauthorized use or close imitation of the language and thoughts of another author and the representation of them as one's own original work.
Plagiarism is the copying of one's work without permission and selling it off as your own. Plagiarism is very common in this world, but very undetectable. For example, some clothe designs were copied from the originator, but the copier produced it first, so its 'their' idea. I feel that plagiarism should be stopped as people can just copy your work without your permission and say that it is theirs. If you were to invent something, or write out a very well done speech, another person who reads it can copy it and say that it is theirs. Since they produced it first, though you might argue with them, they will still say that you copy their idea when it is actually yours.
How to prevent plagiarism? Simple. Keep your work to yourself and do not spread it around to other people. If the work is fabulous, do not brag about it but just keep silent until the correct time. That way, no one will find out about your idea and no one will know and thus no one can copy it.
Lets all work hand-in-hand and stop PLAGIARISM!

Leeching at SN2 and training at Newties

I was leeching at SN2 at the early parts of my level of 78, before returning to Squids. But very very soon after I hit Lv82. Lv 82 ~90 was very fast, gone in a flash. It only took me 2 days. And, if not compared to leeching, really is a great achievement.
For the immense leveling, I must really thank these people:

iCornStar(a.k.a Daniel): Lending me his bishop to spam myself and to kick out infamous map raiders from my guild members' maps such as MP3.
In order to train from 82~90 fast, proceed to Leafre:Leafre. Then take the bullet cab(black) and go all the way right. Thats the 1st split road. Take the right portal. When you reach place where the background song and the background changes, go all the way down. Ignore other portals. The second split road you will come to is when you reach a place of Dark Wyverns. Take the left portal.
There will be a hidden street and a portal at the top right. Take the portal to the hidden street. Wala. You have reached your destination.
Caution: If your health is not above 2.5k, use DarkSight. As I said, this is a Hermit's guide.
But if you are able to tank, then go all the way. Faster travelling. If you are not a ranged killer, stick to Squids.
The first day was one of the most exciting times. The exp% increment was so great I was spurred on to kill more. But after Lv86, the exp% increment was far lesser than before, thusI was partially demotivated. But I persevered. Grinding my way through from 10am-3pm, I finally hit my target for Year 2009, Lvl 90. I had already got my scarlion helmet, 18 19 18 18, when I was Level 87. Thus, I look fat in my big red head =.=
There were still alot of things that I did during that period of time, like killing Capt. Latanica, scrolling etc. That will be in my next post. Look forward to it guys!

Training Underwater

There is only one person in Maplestory that I must really thank is GildThief. He brought me to this place called Deep Sea Gorge, where he taught me all the killing spots so as not to get damaged by the monsters there, known as Squids and Risell Squids. Since I could 100% hit at Squids already, Gild recommended me to train there. EXP was really great at lv 77. So this is where I recommend for Hermits to train after advancing to 3rd job.
Hermit's Guide to Fast Leveling:

Lv 70~77: MP3, a.k.a Mysterious Path 3
People recommended: Cleric/Priest, Spearman/DragonKnight, and another Hermit/Assassin.
Items needed: At least 12 sets of stars, so as to last you about 1 hour.
Potions: 300 Ice Cream Pop would be sufficient to last you about 3hours. But only use it if your HP is above 2000. If not, Unagi. PureWater is greatly recommended.

Lv 77~82: Deep Sea Gorge at Aqua Road
People recommended: Solo or with Priest and DragonKnight.
Items needed: 300 Ice Cream Pop, 450 Pure Water.

Level 82~90 will be told in my next post. This is one of the fastest training guide. This does not compare with leeching. If you want to know where to leech and at what levels, here you go. I recommend that all spammers be bishops due to Holy Symbol.

Leeching Guide:
Lv70~78: Longest Ride on Bye Bye Station
EXP per hour: 20%
Fee: ~4m

Lv 78~88: Sky Nest 2
EXP per hour: 40%
Fee: ~6m

Lv 88~108: Entrance to the Spooky World
EXP per hour: 70%
Fee: 1Hitter: ~8m
2Hitter: ~6m

Lv 108~120: Mini Dungeon: Revived Memory
EXP per hour: 70%
Fee: 1Hitter: ~15m
2Hitter: ~12m

Then that will be the end of your leeching. You have acquired 4th Job. Congrats!
Coming back to where I was talking, Squids prove one of the fastest training areas.
Squid: 2200exp
Risell Squid: 2500exp
But you have to be funded in order to train fast. About 15m should do. I leveled about 3 times a day, so soon I hit lv82 and I went to my next training area. Look forward to my next post!

Having fun here and there at lvl 77

wvvwvvwSinx, WinterBlistz, Pur3pR0aGe, NightGameXx and me were partying at an MP3 map that Pur3pR0aGe had acquired early that morning. So, we 5 people conquered the map and started grinding and training. Sponsors of Family 2X included NightGameXx which made us easier to level up. When I was Lv76 99.90%, I let Sinx do the honours. I rested at one spot while he killed the monsters, and he made me level up. Then, we trained until both Pur3pR0aGe and WinterBlistz leveled up to Lv73 and Lv75 respectively. We proceeded to Kerning City and went to MuLung Dojo, and went for a guild MLPQ(MuLung PartyQuest). But we ended early because of NightGameXx had to go offline. We went to Showa Town to kill the male boss. But it proved way too easy and the exp there wasnt too good. With nothing left to do, i returned to grinding, but not at MP3 anymore, but Squids at Deep Sea Gorge. Wait for my next post where I train like mad!

Christmas Event is here in 2009

The Christmas event, HappyVille, is here once again. All the good old quests are back. Free snowboards, free fame, dropping and decorating christmas trees in HappyVille are here, back but not better than before. I went into Strawhat Man Room #1 and started throwing out all my equips, as no one can loot it in that room. I decorated my tree with all my equips but it still looked ugly. Thus, I left the room and carried on with my grinding at Mysterious Path 3, where I had my cousin, sister and Guildmates to party there. EXP was very good due to kind sponsors of free Family 2X buff. 1 mob = 100exp when others kill=, 400exp when i kill. So, I trained there for 2 days, before hitting level 78. The screenshots that I have taken during these times are at the top.
